The second phase of Midea's KUKA project started in April 2021, with an investment of 800 million yuan, to complete the construction of 6 factories of about 200,000 square meters, which have been put into use since the end of last year, and at present, there are about 1,000 permanent employees in the park, and more than 50% of scientific and technological personnel. As of the end of April this year, the park has produced and delivered more than 57,000 industrial robots to customers, with a turnover of more than 8.2 billion yuan and a cumulative output value of nearly 10 billion yuan.

The park also actively introduces upstream suppliers of the industrial chain and improves the layout of the industrial chain, builds a robot industry cluster, and helps the development of the robot industry. At present, a total of 9 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain have been stationed, covering a number of core components of robots, and it is expected that the supply chain of the park will reach more than 85%.
